I started out photographing orchestras and choirs before, during and after their performances and competitions. That sparked something amazing in my heart and now I photography families, newborns, seniors, events, head shots, businesses, couples, maternity and more!!
So, of course I need a great family photo right? How does a photographer take their own family photos? I figured out a way! I did all the prep work with finding the right coordinating outfits for my family, not easy! Then I scouted out a great location. Then I recruited my sister-in-law to snap the photos for us. I adjusted all of the camera settings and did test shots, then I showed her how to focus and where to focus and she did an amazing job! I love how they turned out! I still posed everyone and did all that I usually do in a photoshoot, but since I'm the mom and not a photographer- in my kid's eyes- it took twice as long to do what I do in less then an hour. :) Patience is the name of the game folks!
If you don't want to try to figure all this out by yourself, call me and I'll take the stress out of it for you! I'll help you figure out outfits, plan the location, I'll handle the posing and getting everyone to laugh and smile. Leave it up to me and I'll help you through the whole process until you have amazing artwork of your family on your walls!!
